The RA6M5 Cloud Kit (RTK7CKA6M5S08002BE) is a development platform designed to help engineers quickly build and evaluate secure cloud-connected applications. Powered by the Arm® Cortex®-M33–based RA6M5 MCU group, it delivers high performance, advanced security features, and efficient power consumption, making it well-suited for a wide range of IoT and edge devices.

The kit provides multiple connectivity options for seamless integration with global cloud service providers. It includes an onboard Ethernet PHY for reliable wired networking and the DA16600 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth® Low Energy combo Pmod™ for wireless applications. This flexibility allows developers to experiment with use cases such as smart buildings, industrial automation, connected consumer devices, and asset tracking.

To simplify development, the platform is supported by the Renesas Flexible Software Package (FSP), which offers a complete software stack with FreeRTOS, Azure RTOS, and additional middleware. Machine Monitoring

Example project for the Renesas CK‑RA6M5 v2 Cloud Kit. It uses an IOTCONNECT AT‑command‑enabled Wi‑Fi module (DA16600) to connect the board to IOTCONNECT. The demo sends telemetry and supports commands such as toggling the red LED and setting the LED blink frequency on the board.
